Law Enforcement Pursuit Concluded In The Harvard Heights Area

A police chase involving a possibly stolen car began in West LA and ended in the Harvard Heights neighborhood, resulting in the suspect being shot. The pursuit lasted nearly an hour and involved collisions with several vehicles, including sheriff's patrol cars. The chase concluded around 3:55 p.m. at Sunset Avenue and La Habra Boulevard, where deputies found smoke coming from one of the tires of the suspect's vehicle. During the incident, deputies fired shots after the suspect rear-ended his vehicle and collided with another sheriff's vehicle. Footage later showed the suspect on the sidewalk receiving aid before being placed in an ambulance; no injuries to deputies have been reported.
